Description
In the original Blade Runner (1984), the Voight-Kampff method was used to distinguish Replicants from humans. In Blade Runner 2049, a more advanced technology analyzes a Replicant’s operational stability.
The Baseline is designed to test the effects of a Blade Runner’s job on his brain and psyche because they have to kill their own kind, they constantly need to be assessed as to whether their work is having some kind of moral impact on them.
This was the first project I completed using Fusion 360. I started to bridge away from Tinkercad because the shapes were deceptively elegant like the movie’s entire production design and I wanted to capture them accurately.
These were made using injection mold techniques in a garage kit setting. They are clean cast inside and out.
